Feed back from some of my clients on what they find most enjoyable about
                                                           Nordic Walking
' Being in the fresh air and being able to socialise whilst participating'
' The company and the feeling I could do this'
' I am a retired lady with a movement dissorder, however thanks to Georgina's personal tuition I am now able to enjoy nordic walking , and find the poles give me confidence'.
' I have arthritis in my ankle and I can walk much further and faster with the poles'
'Thought you might be interested to know that for the last 2 weeks of the course I was suffering with a painful arm and shoulder (a long term neck injury) but I'm surprised & delighted to say I was able to Nordic walk comfortably. In fact the only thing that caused pain was actually driving to and from Lakeside!!. At the risk of sounding like an old crock, I also found I could Nordic walk without any knee pain. I can usually start to feel discomfort after only 10 mins of walking but even after the longer walk last Wednesday, my knee was great. My husband & I do a lot of walking and even with trekking poles, my knee is very painful at the end of a day. Last weekend I tried using the poles in Nordic walking style and the difference was amazing. Needless to say, I will definitely be buying some Nordic poles.'

HI Georgina

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your great Nordic Walk course in Crosby last week.  Thank you for being so supportive and patient with Alan - he loved it.  I haven't seen him walk so far in years - he felt invigorated.  I have now bought some poles and we are going to continue with it.  I will join some walks but Alan won't manage those so I will be doing a one to one as you suggested.

I have told lots of my friends and hopefully some of them will sign up too.  One friend has fibro myalgia and is hoping it will help her

 thanks again
